Leo Hee Tong is one of 60 artists whose work is available at a discount at the President’s Challenge Art Exhibition 2024.Art lovers can snag masterpieces at a discounted price and also do their bit for charity at the inaugural President’s Challenge Art Exhibition 2024, which opens on July 25.
Prices start at $300 and go up to $65,000, discounted by 50 per cent from their original retail prices. “We hope to raise $50,000 or sell 80 per cent of the artworks,” she says, adding that she hopes the exhibition will become an annual event.More Than Music presents its final concert of 2024, featuring co-founders Abigail Sin and Loh Jun Hong. Co-founded by pianist Abigail Sin and violinist Loh Jun Hong, the More Than Music classical concert series takes place in more intimate and informal settings. The duo, who have been friends since they were teenagers, aim to make classical music accessible. Exploring the idea of crowded spaces, the artist’s paintings capture snippets of daily life in the Mumbai chawls – dense residential buildings – where he grew up.
