Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mokete Tsotetsi believes the recent departure of Stuart Baxter could benefit one of Amakhosi's attacking players who desperately needs game-time.
Having struggled with injury and then being suspended by management for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, Zuma made his first appearance of the season when he came on as a substitute in Amakhosi's 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch over the weekend. The former Bloemfontein Celtic attacker had only featured on the bench twice under Baxter.
"Under coach Stuart Baxter, some of the attacking players were not getting a chance because of the way the team was playing. He believed in more defenders than attackers. So, with coach Arthur Zwane, it's different. He is one coach who believes in the best way to defend is attack. That's the culture of Kaizer Chiefs - the best way to defend is to attack," Tsotetsi told the Siya crew. "Zuma was given a chance over the weekend by a coach who believes in him.
