Having scored his first goal for Kaizer Chiefs in the 3-0 win over Maritzburg United, Ashley Du Preez was a notable absentee for the Amakhosi ahead of their clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on the weekend.
Following the match, Amakhosi coach Arthur Zwane shed light on Du Preez's absence and revealed that his non-availability had forced him into tweaking his starting XI for the match against Masandawana."...When Ash started training, he gave us that hope but then when he pulled out of training we had to restructure who we would use going forward," Zwane explained.
