Arteta revealed in his post-match press conference on Friday the England international had not trained this week but was seen
arriving in Bournemouth with the rest of the Arsenal squad that evening, starting at the Vitality Stadium this afternoon.Arsenal went onto cruise to victory with Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz scoring from the penalty spot with Ben White adding another in injury time. Saka was seen limping during the second-half however before he was eventually replaced after 76 minutes by Fabio Vieira.
Speaking post-match, Arteta said Saka had taken a ‘pretty bad knock’, also suggesting Gabriel Jesus was another who was struggling after the game.‘Yes it was a pretty bad knock,’ Arteta told BBC. ‘I don’t know how he is feeling I haven’t had the chance to speak to him but hopefully we can get him back.’
Arteta added when speaking to Sky Sports: : ‘I think Gabriel Jesus as well, he was limping when I saw him in the dressing room. So let’s see how we can recover players.’
