Reiss Nelson is pushing for a move away from his boyhood club Arsenal academy graduate Reiss Nelson has informed the club he wants to assess his options for a possible summer transfer amid interest from four Premier League sides. The 24-year-old has made 89 appearances for Arsenal since breaking into the first-team in 2018.
It is claimed Premier League clubs West Ham, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Fulham have all expressed interest in signing Nelson, who has had loan spells in Germany and the Netherlands. Following back-to-back second-place finishes in the Premier League, Arsenal are keen to back Arteta once more in the transfer market. The Gunners are expected to sign a new striker after Gabriel Jesus’ underwhelming campaign but need to look elsewhere after missing out on key target Benjamin Sesko.
