Eddie Nketiah struck late in the second half to hand Arsenal a thrilling 3-2 win over Manchester United on Sunday evening. Read more ▶️
The Gunners were unchanged from their win over Tottenham Hotspur, as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka flanked Nketiah upfront.
Mikel Arteta's charges took the game to the Red Devils early on but were caught on a transition on 17 minutes as Marcus Rashford gave the visitors the lead with low strike from range. Erik ten Hag's men carried a threat on their attacks as McTominay forced reflex save out of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale towards the half-hour mark but chances dried up as the interval approached and the tie remained on the balance at half-time.
United had an almost immediate response, as Ramsdale fumbled a corner by Christian Eriksen, which fell on the head of Lisandro Martinez, who made it 2-2.
