Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph is not facing charges following the fatal shooting of Cameron Ray back on March 18, according to multiple reports, but Dallas Police said Saturday two suspects have been taken into custody.

The agency tweeted that Aries Jones, 28, and Tivione English, 21, have both been taken into custody “in connection to the homicide.”that his client was a passenger in the vehicle that was involved in the drive-by shooting, but that he was “unarmed and not looking for violence.”, after surveillance video appeared to show him in a group that was fighting with Ray and a group of his friends just before the shooting occurred.

The Cowboys released a statement Friday saying they are aware of what happened and sending condolences to Ray’s family. “The organization is aware of Kelvin Joseph’s possible connection to this incident,” the team said in a statement. “We are in contact with Dallas law enforcement and have alerted the NFL office. We have no further comment at this time.”
