The Los Angeles Police Department arrested a man in connection to the fatal shooting of a Taco Bell worker during a feud over a fake $20 bill over the weekend, a report said.
LAPD Chief Michel Moore announced the bust during a Tuesday night vigil for the victim, Alejandro Garcia – a 41-year-old father who was gunned down while working with his son at the fast food restaurant on Saturday night,The suspect is being held on $2 million bail. Police were expected to release more information about the arrest overnight Tuesday.
Garcia was shot after his son got into an argument with two men ordering from the drive-thru who tried to pay with a fake bill, relatives had told KABC.Garcia’s son tried to close the drive-thru window to stop the bullets, but at least one of them made it inside and struck his father in the torso.The father leaves behind three children.Alejandro Garcia, the Taco Bell worker killed in the attack.
