Olise's future has been the subject of speculation in recent months. The Palace star was close to joining Chelsea last summer when his £35 million release clause was activated before he signed a new contract to remain at Selhurst Park.
Should Liverpool move to sign Olise then it would present yet another talented forward option for Arne Slot in his first season as head coach. Slot is officially in his first days as Jurgen Klopp's successor and will be spending the next few weeks assessing his squad ahead of the new season. However, it seems unlikely Olise would become a first choice member of the starting XI ahead of either player right away should Liverpool sign him. Diaz has been heavily linked with a move away from Liverpool in recent weeks. Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Colombia international, who is contracted at Anfield until 2027.
