With this being the first time we've heard from Slot outside of official club media, there will be much to disucss from transfer plans, the contract situations of several high-profile players and his tactical strategy going forward. Slot will almost certainly be asked to offer an update of sorts on the futures of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
All three are now inside the final year of their respective terms and given their importance to the overall cause at Anfield, it is unthinkable they are allowed to walk away from the club on a free transfer next summer. Contract negotiations are the remit of the sporting director but given we are unlikely to hear from Richard Hughes on the record too often - if ever - Slot will be expected to pacify those looking for clues as to what the future might hold for three of the biggest names in the squad.
Liverpool might insist they are relaxed but with no movement being reported, fans might just start to be getting a little concerned. Slot has the chance to put those worries at ease somewhat on Friday morning. "
