Officer William Bill, another motorcycle officer, said he knew McMichael as a friend as much as he knew him as a coworker. He and the rest of the motorcycle unit have been mourning his death together. But Arlington police say that hasn’t stopped the officers who called McMichael a friend from showing up to work.
