Arizona State president Michael Crow puts Herm Edwards' job security in question after loss

Arizona State University president Michael Crow has supported Herm Edwards before, but not after after an embarrassing 30-21 loss to Eastern Michigan.

"They showed up to play, and we didn’t," Crow toldCrow has supported Edwards in the past, but not this time.

"Like anything, when you’re in combat, you support your officers," Crow said."And we’re in combat. But we’ll have to decide where we’re going from here and decide what the issues are and see where we’re headed." The game left little room for confidence that the program could turn things around quickly, which Crow also addressed.

"There can be quick fixes," he said."There are several types of those, so we’ll just have to see where we’re headed."
