Argos shoppers can have King Charles 'attend' their Coronation party for £37 affiliate
Brits up and down the country are gearing up for huge celebrations for the King’s Coronation this May, with many planning get-togethers, Big Lunches and barbecues to mark the occasion. The bank holiday will run from May 6 to May 8, and families are planning to kit out their homes with Royal-themed decorations to celebrate.
The retailer is selling three cardboard cut-outs of the King on their website, including a Regal King Charles - the most popular so far - as well as one of him wearing a blue suit, and a third featuring both King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.Cardboard cut-out sales have gone “well beyond what we would expect” according to an Argos spokesperson, with the retailer planning to sell even more before the big day.
Even some of the most famous character cut-outs from the likes of Frozen, Toy Story, Hey Duggee and Star Wars couldn’t compete with the ‘King Charles Blue Suit Cutout.’
