There were no discipline issues on this night, all three phases chipping in to score touchdowns as the Argos finally played with inspiration and desperation.

Tied 17-17 early in the fourth, the Argos special teams finally did something special when Trevor Hoyte blocked a Michael Domagala punt and Benoit Marion scooped it up and rumbled 24 yards for the go-ahead major.

The announced crowd at BMO Field Saturday night was 11,623, one of the smallest gatherings involving a Ticats team playing in Toronto in recent memory, perhaps ever. The scoop-and-score by Marion, who ran into the end zone untouched, gave the Argos their first lead of the game and energized them.Ticats’ playmaker extraordinaire Bralon Addison was hurt in the opening quarter and it didn’t look good.

The Argos also lost veteran long-snapper Jake Reinhart in the second half and running back Andrew Harris looked to be favouring his hand as he came off the field in the dying seconds.Rogers returned to the lineup for the first time this season but it took the Argos until the final two minutes of the half to get the veteran slotback involved as he hauled in two straight passes.
