It takes me a lot to fully express my disappointment. As a writer in the industry for eight years, I've let things slide sometimes, trying to put myself in people's shoes, thinking about their brand reputations, and being the good child I was raised to be. But, what happened over the weekend at the Metro FM Awards really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Before I address a couple of things, I just want to remind you as a reader that I'm not voicing my disappointment because the other journalists and I wanted special treatment but because this has been happening for far too long in the industry, and maybe I've reached my boiling point.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
