The tech giant, whose streaming service Apple Music is the second most popular paid-for app for listening to music in the world, has also launched its annual personal year-end service for subscribers Replay.
Top of the pops Dermot Kennedy’s Better Days was the most streamed Irish song in Ireland in 2022 — sitting at No.11 in the Top 100 list of most streamed songs in Ireland on the streaming service's platform. Ireland's favourites The most streamed song on Apple Music in Ireland was Harry Styles’ As It Was, while No.2 was Cold Heart by Elton John and Dua Lipa.Kate Bush’s classic Running Up The Hill was the most streamed old song on the top 100 — sitting at No.17.
The lyrics chart is among the most global charts, with 29 of the 100 songs being in a language other than English. Replay Apple Music subscribers can learn their own personal top songs, artists, albums, genres and more in a redesigned Replay experience.
