Apple’s subscription services such as Apple TV and Apple Music look set to be joined by something even more ambitious… an iPhone subscription service, where regular payments will bring you the usual software and content, but also line up regular refreshes of your hardware; all the while distributing Apple's annual rush of iPhone income across twelve months. When this goes ahead I’m curious to see who will legally ‘own’ the phone.
"That regularity allows Apple to line up the release of Axx mobile-class chips and the Mxx desktop-class chips allowing for more economy of both scale and development cost. The releases would match up with the major jumps in the macOS public releases in early October each year, and of course a predictability of when the next laptop or desktop will be released helps set public expectation."Of course the team at iFixit have got their hands on the Mac Studio.
"Then, with iOS 15.4 just released last week, Apple brought Universal Control feature, and today the company announced the first US state to add digital IDs: Arizona. That said, all features first previewed in June during the WWDC21 keynote are finally available. It’s important to note that two features are still in beta: Universal Control and Private Relay, but both work as reliably as they can and are available to all users."With the launch of iOS 15.
