CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier has confirmed that the appeals process for parents whose children were not accepted at a preferred school will open on 1 August.

Sometimes there’s a perception that it's the Western Cape Education Department making admission decisions, that is not true, schools make admission decisions, and they make those admission decisions in terms of unique admissions policies.
