Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier said, however, that each school had different admissions policies and children were accepted based on those policies.

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier has confirmed that the appeals process for parents whose children were not accepted at a preferred school will open on 1 August.

During this process, parents will be given the opportunity to detail their complaints about the process. Maynier said, however, that each school had different admissions policies and children were accepted based on those policies."Most important thing to understand is it's schools that are making the admissions decisions.
