Aiden WalkerFAIRBANKS, Alaska - A measure to eliminate ranked-choice voting is being reviewed by the Division of Elections to be on this year’s ballot.In 2020, a group called “Alaskans for Better Elections” rallied to get RCV onto the 2020 ballot. It’s been said to increase voter participation and allows voters to choose more than one candidate; however, an opposing group under the name “Alaskans for Honest Elections,” says RCV delays results and can be confusing.
“Right after the election, he told me he didn’t know how to fill out his ballot, and that made me very concerned. So, I started looking into it further and the data underlying RCV was very concerning,” said Phil.
