Liverpool were 2-1 winners at St James' Park in their match with Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon
Anthony Gordon believes Newcastle United "should have won" yesterday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Liverpool found themselves a goal and a man down after 30 minutes played on Sunday afternoon, though benefitted from utilising all five substitutions available to bring about change on the pitch. Reacting to this loss after the full-time whistle, Gordon could not comprehend ending up on the losing side and remained adamant Newcastle were deserving of all three points.
"We played really well and created the chances, but we just weren't clinical enough. That is what's going to separate us from the top teams and is something we really need to focus on improving. If we can do that, we can beat anyone. I took my chance well, which felt amazing, but it doesn't mean anything anymore."
