An unbelievable couple days with unusually dry air for late May and it’s no different for the first day of June. Changes come about Sunday with higher humidity and late day thundershower chances.
Ridge of high pressure keeps our skies mostly sunny today. A light west-southwest wind helps to boost temperatures into the lower 80s. Clouds are on the increase overnight, as a potent Midwest system moves east. Mostly cloudy Sunday with a chance for a few showers, and maybe a rumble. However, there will be plenty of dry hours to enjoy the outdoors. Just have a plan to carry the umbrella or head indoors briefly. The threat increases overnight but showers should exit by very early Monday morning.
Temperatures are trending warmer early with highs in the low 80s Monday and Tuesday. A very low shower threat exists both days. The next storm system brings showers and thundershowers back to the area late day Wednesday, with a better chance for more widespread showers and storms Thursday.Most of Friday is dry, however, isolated thundershowers are possible. It continues sticky with highs in the upper 70s. Unsettled weather is around for the weekend with shower and storm chances both days.
