The COVID-19 pandemic put the Sudbury mining exploration workshop on hold for the past two and a half years
The annual exploration trip to Sudbury for mining students from across Canada is back on for 2023, after a three-year hold because of the pandemic.
The original S-IMEW workshop was launched in 2007 by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada to bring some of Canada's senior geoscience students to Sudbury for hands-on mineral exploration workshops and face time with representatives of the mining exploration industry.
