Her bravery for always standing in her truth, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact.
A representative told The Daily Beast that Heche had been declared brain dead Thursday night after previously announcing she had suffered a “significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation” as well as a “severe anoxic brain injury.” Her body is being kept on life support so that her organs can be donated.On social media, tributes poured in from the likes of fellow actors Rosanna Arquette, Ed Helms, and director James Gunn.
