Anna Wintour introduces VogueGlobalConversations, a four-day online event, starting tomorrow, April 14th, in which we will discuss questions about the future of creativity, runway shows, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar retail with a panel of experts.
But for all the damage we’ve seen, it is also clear that there is opportunity as well. Everyone we were speaking to seemed to agree: that fashionto change. That when we come back from this crisis—which we will—we should come back with purpose: stronger and more thoughtful and more sustainable in what we do.
And each one of us could all use a little hope right now. I am convinced that conversations like the ones starting tomorrow—and we are planning to hold at least three more of these events in the months to come—are the best way to generate it. We need to talk frankly and openly about what fashion is going through, but just as importantly, we need to start imagining what comes next. Please join us.
