Angola's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 0.01 per cent from the second quarter of 2022 to the second quarter of 2023, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said Monday in Luanda.

According to the Rapid Information Sheet , referring to the National Accounts for the second quarter of 2023, GDP grew by 0.2 per cent from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2023, taking into account the seasonally adjusted series.

The Gross Value Added of Fishing grew by 5.6 per cent in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, making a positive contribution of 0.003 per cent to the total change in GDP.There was a problem processing your submission. Although there were positive variations in the production of the quantities extracted of natural gas, LNG and condensate, there was a drop in the extraction of crude oil, the latter having a weight of around 90 per cent.
