Angelina Jolie has accused Brad Pitt of trying to "silence" the abuse allegations she made against him with a multimillion pound Non-Disclosure Agreement . The actress separated from Brad in 2016, two years after they tied the knot.
In the latest update, lawyers for Angelina, 49, have claimed Brad, 60, wanted her to sign a $8.5 million NDA, which was "specifically designed to force her silence about his abuse" in their legal battle. Court documents - obtained by PEOPLE - show Angelina's lawyers asking Brad to disclose personal communications, yet to actor's lawyers have hit back, saying the request is "wide-ranging and intrusive".
Early in the proceedings, the FBI looked into allegations made by Angelina. The investigation was closed with no charges filed. In October 2021, Angelina chose to sell her stake in the winery to Tenute del Mondo - the wine division of the Stoli Group. One month before the sale, Angelina was cleared to proceed, having previously been prevented from selling during her divorce battle.
