There wouldn't have been many of a Celtic persuasion surprised by the controlled mania Tottenham showed in their rousing 2-0 win over Manchester United.
It was peak Ange Postecoglou as the former Celtic manager earned a signature result thanks to Pape Sarr's strike and Lisandro Martinez's own goal. Celtic punters savoured two years of Angeball and the rules which come with it – never stopping and running the opposition into the ground. And while many of a Parkhead persuasion would have doffed their cap at the display, there was some agitation over praise being heaped on Spurs punters.
Many onlookers had noted a low hum of a chant hailing Tottenham's boss but shock was raised during a viral video clip showing Spurs fans going bonkers at full time. Football fan accounts were quick to praise the song but Celtic diehards were quick to point out the fan chant came which simply states 'Ange Postecoglou' was conceived by the Green Brigade.
