Andy Murray could be first opponent for Novak Djokovic in Geneva

Novak Djokovic was handed a wildcard entry into the ATP 250 tournament and enjoys a bye into the second round as the top seed.

Novak Djokovic has made the unusual call to enter the Geneva Open in the week before the French Open and could start his campaign against former world No 1 Andy Murray.

Murray and Hanfmann have met once before, coincidentally also on Swiss soil, with the Brit coming out on top at the Swiss Indoors in Basel last October., and Americans Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton who round out the players earning first-round byes as the No 3 and No 4 seeds respectively. No 7 seed Fabian Marozsan is in a tough section as well as he starts against Alexander Shevchenko and could face either Emil Ruusuvuori or Marcos Giron in the second round.
