People should take extra care when downloading any new apps at the moment - even if they are from the official Google Play store.
Anyone who has an Android phone has been warned to be extra careful due to a potential malware bug that could end up draining bank accounts.
These dangerous apps have been downloaded more than five million times, according to the experts. Bank accounts in the UK and USA are being targeted by the Anatsa bug, the Mirror reports. "Over the past few months, we identified and analyzed more than 90 malicious applications uploaded to the Google Play store. These malware-infected applications have collectively garnered over 5.5 million installs.
