ANCYL will march to the JSE.
It’s all systems go for the ANC Youth League economic freedom march scheduled to take place on Friday.
Scores of ANCYL members are set to march to the JSE in Sandton, Johannesburg, as a way to wage a war against issues of safety, economic justice and youth empowerment. ANCYL Secretary General Mntuwoxolo Ngundle says tomorrow’s march to the JSE is one that will send out a strong message to the government and the private sector on the country’s high unemployment rate.
“As such, tomorrow we’ll be on the streets demonstrating to our government and the private sector alike that they must take full responsibility of the lack of mass fixed gross capital investment in our country and the absence of state-led economic stimulus programs that industrializes the South African economy to create jobs,” says Ngundle.
Momentum Insurance says its impact study has shown that the unemployment crisis cannot be solved by one organisation but through partnerships between corporates, government and civil society.
