Some members in Limpopo’s Vhembe Region have complained about being isolated from conference preparations by its regional secretary, and have threatened to interdict the long-awaited conference.
JOHANNESBURG - It seems there are more headwinds for the African National Congress Youth League ahead of its 26th national elective conference next week.
Some from its regional executive committee claim the league and the ANC in the province has failed to help resolve the current impasse. Electing new leadership for the youth league, which last elected leadership in 2015 might now be at risk depending on how it navigates the next few days. They met with leaders from the national task team and with their mother body's head of disputes, Mdu Manana on Saturday.
