Starting in early April, according to the Municipality of Anchorage, the city’s emergency cold weather shelters will start decompressing.At $62,370,000, Proposition One is the biggest bond Anchorage voters are being asked to approve on the April second municipal election ballot. The Anchorage School District says the money will go for security and safety upgrades as well as structural improvements for multiple schools across the district.
