Mbalula stated that this applies to all members, regardless of their position or rank. He specifically mentioned former President Jacob Zuma , who publicly endorsed another political party months before the May 29 elections. Mbalula stated that Zuma would be charged and brought before the ANC 's disciplinary committee.
He also warned that any senior officials who attack the organization or its leadership will face disciplinary action. Mbalula emphasized that while raising views and ideas is acceptable, attacking the ANC and casting aspersions on its leadership will not be tolerated.
