Despite being slapped with an interdict to stop it from swearing in its mayor and speaker, the ANC in Limpopo’s Waterberg region is not giving up on its quest to topple the DA from leading the Thabazimbi Local Municipality.
The ANC first lost control of the municipality after the 2016 local government elections and in 2021 it could still not recover from the loss and remained on the back benches of the council chamber.
