The San Marcos Police Department said someone broke into an Army facility in San Marcos and stole a Humvee similar to the one that is pictured.The San Marcos Police Department said someone broke into the facility at 2850 Leah Ave. sometime between Nov. 22 and Nov. 28 and stole the military vehicle.
A police spokesperson said investigators are working with the Army Special Investigation Division to find the Humvee and those who are responsible.Real estate agents on YouTube have called San Antonio the 'worst city in the U.S.' The vehicle displays the number 399 TPC A1-6 on both the front and rear bumpers and is tan in color. The vehicle also has a gun turret on its roof, which is the mounting platform from which weapons can be fired.Humvees can range in price, but in 2011, it was revealed they start at $160,000, according to The Soldiers Project, a military service psychological counseling nonprofit. In 2020, the equivalent was about $255,000.
