But Klobuchar said what’s lacking right now in the White House is empathy – and the ability to see beyond the extremes.
She then delivered her oft-repeated campaign trail pitch, “If you’re tired of the extremes in our politics, if you’re tired of the nonsense and the noise – you have a home with me.” She appears to be finding success in converting voters who had been leaning toward former Vice President Joe Biden until he fell short in Iowa, and also appears to be peeling away some voters who had been eyeing former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the current caucus winner.
