Kallum Radford is accused of hiding the car used in Ashley Dale's shooting on a friend's driveway
The man accused of helping Ashley Dale's killers told detectives he was paid £100 for hiding the car used by the gunman.
The jury heard that after speaking to the men, Radford then rang his friend, Abbie Jevins, and asked her if he could put the car on her drive. He said that Abbie Jevins "said it was ok for a week” after he phoned her. Radford added: "The driver said there’s 100 quid for you lad. I took the money." Jurors previously heard that James Witham had kicked down the door of her house, before entering and shooting her with a Skorpion submachine gun. The 41-year-old is expected to claim he did not see or hear Ashley and was instead attempting to "send a message" to her boyfriend Lee Harrison, who was not present at the time.
