Hundreds of new homes will be built on greenspace in a Nottinghamshire village, despite plans being slammed by councillors. Avant Homes and The White Hills Park Trust have been given permission to build 470 homes on the former Bramcote School playing fields off Coventry Lane in Bramcote.
