: The Seaport Museum is kicking off Lunar New Year with a special craft activity. Those who come by can create their own lion chain decoration using paper links inspired by the colorful signal flags that sailors use to communicate. The activity will take place outside weather permitting, otherwise it will be moved to the quarters of Wavertree. South Street Seaport Museum, 12 Fulton Street, The Seaport. 1 p.m. Free, but must register at seaportmuseum.org.

Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with Chinatown’s annual Lantern Reveal! Every year since 2019, T!C has invited an artist to interpret the iconic red lantern, and this year they will kick off the festivities just the same. There will be lion dancing, confetti, and lots of friends and neighbors having the time of their lives.
