Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from this week's episode of the hit NBC comedy American Auto. Currently enjoying its second season, American Auto follows the exploits of the executives at Payne Motors as they struggle to contend with their own corporate failings amidst the changing tides of the auto industry.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY American Auto boasts a hilarious ensemble cast that includes Harriet Dyer as the COO Sadie Ryan, Jon Barinholtz as the employee-via-nepotism Wesley Payne, Humphrey Ker as Chief Counselor Elliot, Michael B. Washington as Chief Product Designer Cyrus Knight, Tye White as the executives' newest addition Jack Fortin, and X Mayo as Katherine's savvy assistant Dori.
Unfortunately, Katherine's repeatedly aggressive attempts to denounce all violence and preserve the sanctity of the English language lead to her smacking Sadie in the face. Regardless of how unsuccessful this particular meeting was, though, American Auto audiences are sure to get an even bigger kick out of the men of Payne Motors being tasked with reworking the company's abortion policies.
Though American Auto takes place in an entirely different industry than creator Justin Spitzer's previous serious Superstore, the weekly workplace comedy of one series often recalls the tone of the other. The fact that Barinholtz stars in both is a nugget that helps bridge the two together, though the employees of Payne Motors have concerns that would never have occurred to those at Cloud 9.New episodes of American Auto air Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
