Emersen Poulin was last seen with 28-year-old Christopher Daniel Poulin around 11 p.m. Monday night.
Thunder Bay police issued a news release Tuesday morning, saying eight-year-old Emersen Poulin is believed to be with 28-year-old Christopher Daniel Poulin and were last seen around 11 p.m. Monday night.Police said the man is from Prince Albert, Sask., and that's where the pair could be headed.
The child is described as white, about four feet tall and weighing 70 pounds with a thin build, brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing black and red shoes with velcro straps. Police described the suspect as a white man, standing about five-foot-nine in height and weighing about 190 pounds with shoulder-length bleached blond hair that is sometimes worn in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing black-rimmed glasses, a white baseball cap, white shirt, grey shorts and a grey sweater.
A warrant is being sought for the suspect's arrest on charges of failing to provide the necessities of life, abduction, unlawful confinement and breach of release. Anyone who sees the suspect is urged to immediately contact 911, and not confront or approach him. Police are still seeking details about a vehicle, and anyone with information about the vehicle he is driving is also asked to call 911.
