Amber Alert ends for Saskatchewan two-year-old boy with child located safe

An Amber Alert that was issued in Saskatchewan for a two-year-old boy has ended after the child was found unharmed, police say.

A woman who was also noted in the alert was arrested at the same time without incident.

Police in Regina had said earlier they were dispatched to a home shortly before 4:30 a.m. Sunday following a report a woman had shown up and was believed to be trying to take her biological son, who police said she didn’t have custody of.Sign up for our newsletter to get breaking news and daily digests sent to your email.
