May 24, 2022 - 17:42 BST Natalie Salmon A galaxy of stars hit the red carpet earlier today to celebrate The Princes Trust Awards. Among them was style icon Amal Clooney who looked radiant in a floral dress.
The gown which boasted red flowers printed on white silk, flattered Amal, the column shape of the dress suiting her perfectly. For accessories Amal decided to posit the dress with vertiginous white silk pumps and a matching white clutch. Her trademark glossy mane was curled and parted to the side, bringing Hollywood glamour to London’s rainy streets.Amal Clooney was elegance personified
The human rights lawyer made a solo appearance at London's Theatre Royal on Drury Lane, without her A-lister actor husband George Clooney. Instead she brought her mother Baria Alamuddin as her date. Amal was there to hand out the ‘Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award’ which is sponsored by the eponymous Charlotte Tilbury makeup brand. For her part Amal opted for natural makeup and a bold red lip.
“I am honoured to have been invited by Prince’s Trust International to participate in this global initiative celebrating young women who are change-makers in their communities.” explained Amal Clooney In a statement at the time, “It is a privilege to be able to play a part in a project that will draw attention to incredible young women who are the future leaders of our world.”Amal wasn’t the only glamorous attendee of course, Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor also made an appearance.
The Prince's Trust is a charity which was founded in 1976 by Prince Charles to help disadvantaged young people get their lives on back track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed, those struggling at school and those at risk of exclusion from society. This year the Prince's Trust Awards is going to air on ITV and ITV Hub for the very first time in its 18 year history.
