Victoria police are hoping to identify a man allegedly caught prowling around a residence in Fernwood before threatening a local and sneaking through a window into a nearby apartment.
Around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, VicPD officers were called to the 2000-block of Chambers Street for a report of a man prowling in front of a residence. An area resident told officers that the suspect, a man, threatened them after they spotted the man on private property and captured him on video, according to VicPD in a release. Officers attended the scene but were unable to find him.Then just before 5:30 a.m., officers were called to a nearby multi-suite residence in the 1000-block of Princess Avenue after a man was seen entering through a window into one of the suites.
