More than 60 people have been sentenced at Northampton Magistrates Court in the past week
More than 60 people from across Northamptonshire have been sentenced for a range of offences at Northampton Magistrates Court during the last week.
They all appeared at Northampton Magistrates Court, where laypeople can impose fines, community service and even prison sentences for the more serious offences.Only the most serious cases are sent to our crown courts. The details published below are all from the official court registers sent out by Northampton Magistrates Court.January 17 Paul Taylor, 52, Highfield Road, KetteringCarl Docherty, 32, Kingsthorpe Avenue, CorbyHe was given a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 24 months, put on a restraining order and ordered to pay a fine of £213.On November 18 he breached a restraining order by sending two emails.
On November 16, 2021, she used a stolen credit card to take out £63.35. She also failed to surrender to custody on January 14, 2022.Carl Jacoby, 43, Stanwell Way, WellingboroughHe later failed to surrender to the court November 11, 2021.On March 5, 2020 he assaulted a man.He was also fined £615.Between August 8 and November 2, 2018, she failed to tell the Department for Work and Pensions and the Borough Council of Wellingborough information about her change of circumstance.
