SINGAPORE — Starting from July 1, 2023, all national servicemen in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will get to receive a S$125 to S$200 increase in their National Service (NS) allowance, depending on their rank and vocation.
SINGAPORE — From July, all national servicemen in the Singapore Armed Forces , the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force will receive a S$125 to S$200 increase in their National Service allowance, depending on their rank and vocation.
For example, a full-time national serviceman holding the rank of recruit will now receive a monthly NS allowance of S$755, up from the current S$630. The revised NS allowance reflected in the table above includes a minimum vocation allowance of S$75. Additional vocational allowances paid to national servicemen in selected vocations are excluded from the table.
