2 Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers Halloween II could have been the ending of Michael Myers’ story with him dying after being burned alive, but when the saga expanded with Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, which as the title says brought Michael back after Halloween III: Season of the Witch stayed away from his and Laurie’s stories, he was brought back from the dead.
Michael eventually arrived in California to go after Laurie, who confronted him and stabbed him repeatedly before pushing him over a balcony. Michael was then taken into a coroner’s van, but Laurie stole it with the intention of killing Michael for good. Michael awoke and attacked Laurie, but she slammed the brakes, sending Michael crashing through the windshield, and as he rose again, she hit him with the van, pinning him between the car and a tree, and she finally decapitated him with an axe.
