Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary are back hosting This Morning on Fridays after a well deserves summer break and have detailed how they prepare to present the show
Fridays are about to be filled with laughter again, as Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond return to the This Morning sofa for their weekly presenting slot.“We have so much fun together that doing it every day for those two weeks was a blast,” laughs Dermot, 49.
Dermot: Yeah, you do miss the camaraderie, especially in the make-up room at the start of the day – that trust and knowing that we take the p**s out of each other, but we love each other. I just love coming to work and doing live telly, and now we’ve got to know each other more intimately.Is it a shock getting back into the early morning routine of filming This Morning?
Dermot: Not every day, but now and then we’ll have a box of streaky bacon rashers that we share around. We do have a little routine going and I trust Alison to choose me a good juice mix. The moments in the make-up room together are really special – we love catching up before the show.
