Alicia Silverstone’s ‘Clueless’ suit gets a makeover for Super Bowl 2023 ad

“Everyone wants this elevated, sophisticated, adult version — but then also, everyone’s totally obsessed with it staying the same,” Silverstone said.

Alicia Silverstone slips back into character as “Clueless” heroine Cher Horowitz in Rakuten’s Super Bowl 2023 ad — complete with that famous yellow skirt suit.

And the plaid separates got a makeover for the big moment, courtesy of Silverstone’s designer pal Christian Siriano .told the New York TimesSiriano, 37, made the ‘90s look modern by using a different plaid pattern, cropping the jacket, ditching the cardigan and making the pleated mini a bit more grown-up.
