Ali Lee denies being sad over no new TV drama alilee 李佳芯
– Ali Lee recently dismissed speculations that she is not being happy with TVB, following a recent post on social media.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at an event held at a racecourse recently, stated that she sparked that particular speculation after she went online and shared a photo that she captioned, "Reminder: Keep on smiling." "I am not unhappy. It's not that interesting. No need to worry so much," she said, when mentioned that many thought she was expressing sadness over the lack of new dramas with TVB.
Ali also stated that she heard that she will be filming a new drama soon, and is looking forward to that. When mentioned that ViuTV producer Chan Kiu Ying, who helmed her 2021 drama, "AI Romantic" hopes to work with her again when her contract with TVB ends, the actress said, "Maybe he was just being polite. He never asked me privately, but I thank him for wanting to work with me again. It's very rare to have a producer who appreciates me, but I am not that close to the end of my contract.
